Subtract the value 7 from 10 and get the desired value of x in a positive value. If the value of right side is bigger than the left side, then it will give you the positive result for x and if the value of left side is bigger than the right side, and gives you the negative value for x. Solving any algebraic equation of degree 1 is easy as compared to solving equations with the higher degree.
